Launch: Introduction to Beekeeping Taster Workshop

We are BEElighted to launch our brand new introduction to bee keeping workshop. 

It's your chance to learn to be a beekeeper in this hour long experience, available in London and Sussex.

What to expect at a beekeeping experience

You’ll begin by getting suited up in a beekeeping suit so you’ll already look like a pro! Once you’re comfortable, our expert beekeeper will start the session with a captivating introduction to the world of bees.

Once you’ve learnt all you need to know, you’ll head over to the hives. Here is your chance to get hands on with the bees as you take part in a hive inspection. You’ll handle the frames straight from the hive as you help the beekeeper spot the queen bee, look out for freshly hatched larvae, assess the honey stores and make sure the hive is in full working order. Throughout the beekeeper is there to answer any of your questions.

Then you'll head over to the hives to get hands on with the bees and you'll also have a chance to sample some fresh, raw honey. Before you go, you’ll receive a free honey beer to takeaway with you (or drink on your way home!) Produced by us, the leading honey beer brand in the country.
