WELCOME TO THE BERMONDSEY BEER MILE
The Bermondsey Beer Mile is one of London's best-loved craft beer trails - a stretch of railway arches between London Bridge and Bermondsey packed with independent breweries, bottle shops and taprooms. It typically starts from London Bridge/Bermondsey station and runs roughly a mile west, with around 13 stops along the way (the exact number changes as venues open and close).
Hiver and Fabal are two of the Mile's venues, both about halfway along the route:
Hiver Taproom — right next to Maltby Street Market, our original home since 2013. Drop in for our honey beers, ciders, and food from the market next door.
Fabal Beerhall — on Druid Street, our speciality lager venue since 2024. Being halfway along the Mile makes us a natural pit-stop — whether you're working your way from one end to the other, or just starting here and exploring outwards.

Testimonials
Fabal Beerhall
"Really nice addition to the Bermondsey Beer Mile, specialising in lager but also selling Hiver beers and cider alongside numerous other beverage types to keep a wide audience interested. We sampled a couple of their own beers and found them to be excellent, both in terms of condition of beer, service and conformation to style. Service was friendly and efficient, despite this being later in the day on a busy Saturday. The venue was also clean and tidy which is a major accomplishment on a busy day! There's a great variety of seating to suit larger and smaller groups and the tables/barrels are well spaced so it's nice and easy to get around the place even at busy times."

"Really nice relaxed brewery. Lovely outdoor space during the summer, cozy indoor in winter. Very small selection of beer but nice. You can order Yard Sale pizza in, which makes for a great accompaniment. Staff is super nice and they're usually not busy so easy to order & space to sit. Place is kept clean."

"Rented this venue for my friend's 30th - the team were super flexible allowing us to take over a smaller area in the bar when the numbers changed. Allowed us to decorate and staff were super friendly. Fun night!"

"I booked a private room at Hiver for a friend's hen do, from the moment I enquired all the way to the end of the party, Izzy the General Manager was beyond helpful. She offered a bespoke arrangement totally suited to our needs and came up with extra ideas like booking us additional space in their public sister bar when we needed an interim space between activities. We could decorate and play our own music, and all the staff and the Duty Manager, Calle, were so helpful on the day, they even arranged our drinks order to arrive exactly when I requested despite their bar being busy! Honestly couldn't recommend Hiver enough!"

Hiver Taproom
"Fab venue, really cosy & a good space to hire if having a private party. Upstairs and downstairs space which works well for a large group. We hosted a pub quiz for a charity fundraising event and it worked perfectly to hold on the bottom floor, with plenty of space to move around. Low min spend & option to have a DJ, visual system and mic in there for your private event."
