FINALLY a Thursday Night Pub Quiz

What better way to kick off the weekend than by grabbing your pals and joining Fabal’s Thursday night pub quiz? And with a £75 bar tab up for grabs there's plenty of drinks to go around!

In 2025, Thursday is the new Friday…but where are the things to do on a Thursday in London? 

Well, on a personal level, I have sat in my flat looking for Thursday night pub quizzes time and time again and, without commuting to the countryside, it was truly impossible to find one. So when we opened the Fabal Beerhall I knew the time was ripe for us to make our mark on the pub quiz scene. 

There are 5 things you need for a great pub quiz:

1. A cosy setting. With our wooden bar, intimate corners and comfy sofas you can be sure no other teams are eavesdropping on your answers.

2. An excellent host. We are honoured to have the legendary Amy BeeSting host our quizzes. She always has a theme, she always throws in a fun practical round (nothing embarrassing, I promise!) and you can guarantee she’s always offering a free drink or two.

3. An excellent beer (or 3!) I mean using your brain that much is thirsty work! You’ll be pleased to hear our bar stocks the very best in English booze and soft drinks.

4. A music round. The thing about a pub quiz is that you need it to be eclectic, so it doesn’t matter what hodgepodge of a team you’ve assembled there is always a round for every expertise.

5. Karaoke. We know, this is a curveball but nothing ends a pub quiz like the whole room coming together to sing in celebration or commiseration. It really is the cherry on top of a perfect Thursday night out. Not obligatory but we can’t recommend it enough.
